For any conductivity value, whether measured in rinse water or concentrated acid, the accuracy is 0.5% of reading plus 0.5 μS/cm. Materials of construction ensure long life under harsh conditions.
Corrosion/abrasion resistant PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) has excellent chemical resistance in all solutions except hydrofluoric or oxidizing concentrated acids. The best material for chemical resistance is PFA (Teflon) for hydrofluoric and oxidizing concentrated acids (nitric, sulfuric, oleum).
The ISC40G and ISC40 are available in PEEK (sensor type GG) for general use. For applications where the sample is aggressive towards engineering plastics, we offer sensors in Teflon (sensor type TG).
The ISC40 sensor is supplied with a robust stainless steel mounting thread, nut and washer combination and uses the bulk head mounting technique for maximum installation flexibility. There are also a variety of brackets and options for reliable in-line or off-line installation, with double O-ring seals for extended sensor life. Other models are available for ball valve insert type applications and sanitary flange type installations.
Both sensors are large bore to accommodate fouling processes which, if installed correctly, keep the sensors clean and prevent measurement errors.
Inductive conductometric technology for eliminating fouling and polarization errors.
Wide bore sensor for long term stability.
Flexible installation using a variety of brackets and universal bulkhead structures.
It has a wide adjustable range when the conductivity is (1 μS/cm~2 S/cm) and the temperature is (-20~130ºC).
Severe electrode fouling affects all applications using contacting electrodes.
Suitable for all ranges except (ultra)pure water applications.
In all applications involving mud or slurries, conventional systems can clog or erode.
